I know, more than ever that wisdom is a shield that will help me. I know that, because all the times I tapped into the things of God, I tapped into some amazing things for my life. It's not always easy for me to follow wisdom, because sometimes I have to say and do the hard things, but let me tell you, God has never steered me wrong.
I remember a time when I had to tell a friend some things and although it was hard, I had to say them. My words were rejected, but I was glad I said them. I never second-guessed myself. And that's a practice I follow in my life. I don't force my voice on people, but when God opens the door, I open my mouth and if my words are accepted, great. If they aren't, still great. I know I did what I had to do and I have peace.

Following God's plan for my life involves getting to tap into the knowledge and wisdom He downloads to me. That's how we will be at the top of our game spiritually, then naturally. "For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints" (Proverbs 2:6-8).
