Daily Devotional Podcast. Follow along with blog post.
A short while ago, I did a devotional/podcast series of the book of Proverbs. I like Proverbs, because it makes me think, but honestly we can say that about the entire bible, right? Not only does Proverbs talk about how we're doing with the resources God has given us -- like the wisdom, our work ethic, our finances, and other things Proverbs is about, it makes us think about how we are using those things to help people.
I know a married couple with a pretty huge house. It's a nice house and what I like about them is that they invite people into their house to spread the gospel -- to talk about God and the bible. That's great, because maybe some of those people would never hear about God if it wasn't for that couple.
Anyway, today I want to share a little about what Proverbs 3:13-18 says. Maybe it'll bless you with something that is on your mind today.
“Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed."
I wish you blessings today and all days.
