"And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.” Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."
Those verses come from 1 Corinthians 9:8-11 and they are a reminder that God has you on His mind. And they are a reminder that although things may not be easy right now, God still remembers what He desires for your life. Do you believe it? Believe it, because He has abundant blessings in store for you, because He wants you to be a blessing to others.
And remember this: scriptures are not just biblical stories and pie-in-the-sky anecdotes that we just read and recite for no reason. Scriptures are real breathing words that mean something and we must inhale and practice them over our lives. We either look at them as organisms that move in our lives or some abstract thing that doesn't really work. I choose the former, because I have seen the scriptures work too many times.
