"I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains? No, my strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains. He won’t let you stumble, your Guardian God won’t fall asleep. Not on your life! Israel’s Guardian will never doze or sleep. God’s your Guardian, right at your side to protect you—Shielding you from sunstroke, sheltering you from moonstroke. God guards you from every evil, he guards your very life. He guards you when you leave and when you return, he guards you now, he guards you always."
Psalm 121 has come to you today, to remind you that if you are a child of God, your strength doesn't come from people, places, or things. Your strength -- your real true strength, comes from the Lord. Sometimes we are trying to get strength and power from the wrong places, yet be encouraged today that you are in the right kingdom if you call God your Father. You are in the right kingdom when you can look high and look towards the light to cover you every day of your life. Don't ever forget that. You are guarded -- you are guarded by God.
