"The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent” (Exodus 14:14). That's what Moses told the Israelites when it was time to cross the Red Sea and to get what the Lord promised to them -- their freedom in a land flowing with milk and honey. The Lord wanted Moses and the people to know that when everything was said and done, the Lord would indeed get the glory. And He certainly did. God hardened the heart of Pharaoh and he eventually let the Israelites go. The Egyptians finally realized that God was in control of everything after all. And everything they did to God's people came back on them.
When the Lord makes a promise, He comes through. He never left His people, because His love for them never ended. It's the same today. He loves His people and His love for us never ends.
Hear what Sha Sha has to say about the Lord fighting for us. Sha Sha is my avatar, so her face is based on my face and the voice you hear is actually me speaking through her.
In times of trouble we lean on these 5 words... The Battle Is The Lords! Great post, as always!
