Proverbs 23-Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge

“Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge” (Proverbs 23:12). This is about listening to information and advice that may not make sense; that may not always completely understand, but deep down we know it’s the best for us.

You ever try to tell a kid something that you will harm them and they just don’t get it? Right. Proverbs 23:12 can apply here, because when we listen and apply what we learned, then great things will result. We may not be able to see those results immediately, but they will come.
