Sometimes we can overthink things and end up not doing anything if we're not careful. That was me for many years. I walked around in fear of doing certain things, because I had a fear of failure and a fear of success. Now I don't let those mindsets hold me back. I just do whatever is in my power to do and the rest...well, I leave that to God to work out on my behalf. The bottom line is this: If the Lord put something in our heart to do and we try to wait until everything is lined up perfectly, we may never get it done. So we have to at least take the initial step then another then another. We don't have to do everything all at once and we can't wait for things to be perfect either, because perfect never comes. We may think being a perfectionist is a good thing, but the reality is, lots of perfectionists find themselves miserable and unfulfilled, because nothing will ever be good enough. There's no such thing as perfect.
We have to just step out and do it, not overthink it anymore. Just take a chance on doing that positive thing you've always thought and dreamed about. I can bet that if it's God-ordained, you and others will be blessed by it. Just do it and it's ok to not understand every little thing. We have to have faith in order to get it done and faith is pleasing to God, and He will fill in the gaps accordingly. Hebrews 11:6 says, "without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." Let's do this thing, because we can do it!
