I like what Ephesians 1:3-10 says, because it's a reminder of God's love for us and all the great things He has in store for us even before we were born. Yes Jeremiah 1:5 says "before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." That means we have power that the Lord has given us. Power to make change. If we really knew who we were in Christ, we would be amazed by how much God has placed in us. He has a purpose for us, He really does.
Ephesians 1:3-10 says:
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth."
So do you see the inheritance we have in Christ Jesus, simply because we have a seat in His glorious kingdom? If you don't know you are blessed and forgiven, I've come to tell you that you are indeed. That's right, you have spiritual blessings in Christ and you can do anything He called you to do, so be confident in knowing that.
