Have you ever heard of Habakkuk 2:2/3? It talks about seeing a vision, writing it down, working towards it, and waiting for it to come. The scripture goes like this: "Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay."
Your vision -- if you see it, you can truly be it. What do you see for your life? It doesn't matter how big it is, what do you envision? Do you even have a vision of what could be? What do you think about often? Are you living it? If not, are you working towards it? Remember, every little thing you do, counts as points towards your vision. As long as you're moving forward, you're going somewhere. How much faith do you have that great things can happen for you? "And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets—who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight" (Hebrews 11:32-34).
They were some of the faithful people God blessed and God doesn't just stop at them. He will bless you and I too, so we have to stand on what we're working for and waiting for God to do in our lives. Although we may not know exactly how God will do what He does, faith at least, gives us the ability to see the vision He has for us. We don't have to know all the details, all we have to do is believe it, see it, and we will become it.
