The voice of the Lord

Do you know there's power in the name of Jesus? And do you know you can tap into that power at anytime? It's about knowing the voice of the Lord. For, He speaks in so many ways. 



To help illustrate the power of the voice of the Lord, I'm going to read the poetic Psalm 29:3-9, which says: 

The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.
The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord twists the oaks
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

Now, that's power, isn't it? If nobody knows what the voice of the Lord is capable of, then I don't know what to say to that. I do know that the voice of the Lord will help you navigate the twists and turns of life. I can say that with confidence, because I know what He did in my life and what He continues to do. He will never fail you either. With the Lord, anything is possible. What do you need Him for today? You can tap into His power right now if you like. Just call on Him and He will answer you.

Protecting My Peace - Day 95 - We Have to Stop Giving Away Our Power

If we’re letting anyone influence us to the point that it’s causing us emotional pain or taking our peace, we have to move away from such people.
