Keep Swinging

I often hear over and over again that consistency is the key to doing great things. I even blog about it from time to time, because I totally agree. Consistency is everything.

Considering that, even though we may miss it sometimes or even hit a foul, we have to continue to swing at the ball. We can't just stand there and watch it go right past us. We have to get in the game. We have to keep doing the things that will get us from A to Z and we have to do them on purpose with purpose. None of us is perfect and we may fall short at any given time, yet if we're on the right track, then getting to where we're going should happen much more efficiently. Thus, we have to keep working at hitting the ball out of the park and with practice we will make it. Yes, I do believe that. And I believe continuous and deliberate focus will get us closer to our goals. Keep your eyes gazed on God, what He's telling you, and keep swinging. You'll make it. Proverbs 4:25-27 says, "let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil."

I would like you to hear what Sha Sha has to say about being consistent and why swinging is better than doing nothing at all. Sha Sha is my avatar, so her face is based on my face and the voice you hear is actually me speaking through her. Check out what she has to say:

Protecting My Peace - Day 98 - Momentum and Movement, That’s What's Up

Click to listen to current podcast episode. “Never Giving Up” are power-words — strong affirmations that give us momentum and movement. That’s what’s up. We can do so much more in our lives when we have momentum and movement. It’s about standing, literally and not sitting or laying around feeling sorry for ourselves. I used to do that once upon a time and that sorrowful thinking is for the birds. We don’t have to be down. We can get up and get going even if we start small. In fact, I love starting small, because it helps set a firm foundation of habits and routines. Momentum and movement will help us get and maintain a position of strength to do what God says we can do. Protecting My Peace - Day 96 - Disciplining Ourselves for Next Level Greatness

Click to listen to today's podcast episode. When it comes to next level greatness, we have to know that applies to us, not just everyone else. Do you know what God has for you? Do you? He has GREATNESS for you. Yes, YOU -- all of us. It's about doing what you can do and only you can do. You are the only one with your DNA -- none of us. is the same Yet, even when we're feeling down, discouraged, and out, those emotions are only temporary. None of us has it all together. Sometimes I procrastinate and put things off when I know I should be doing better. Yet, I am not as diligent and disciplined as I can be sometimes. Like when it comes to working out, I delay it, because I don't like it anymore. And although I love reading the bible, I haven't been reading it as often as I should lately. Yes, I, Sharon, the Faith Coach, do not do the things I'm supposed to do when I'm supposed to do them. And that my dear friends should not come as a shock to no one. It certa

Protecting My Peace - Day 95 - We Have to Stop Giving Away Our Power

Click to listen to today's podcast episode. Are you giving away your power? Are you letting people take control over our lives? If so, it’s time to stop operating like that. If we’re letting anyone influence us to the point that it’s causing us emotional pain or taking our peace, we have to move away from such people. It doesn’t matter if it’s in a personal or professional environment. Stay positive and productive in the process though, because dealing with challenges are part of the life process. Nevertheless, we can “fight” for our right for peace and respect. We just fight smart and continue to know who we are, especially who we are in Christ Jesus.
