Amazing Grace

"Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen" (Ephesians 6:24). Isn't it great that we're covered with the amazing grace of God? At least the ones who put their trust and faith in Him, that is -- the ones who truly believe in Him with all their heart and all their soul. If it weren't for His abundant grace, where would we be? I shutter to think.

When Jesus died for us, He died so we wouldn't have to. Do you know there were instances in the Old Testament where people were taken out by God for sins and mistakes? But when Jesus died on the cross He took those sins, so we wouldn't have to die. He took the fallout from our sins, if you will. Now we are covered by His grace. That doesn't mean we are free to do whatever it is we want to do whenever we want to do them, especially if they are unlawful things. Jesus didn't die for that. We still have to follow the law and rules of the lands, yet Jesus is there to cover us if we stumble and fall. He covers us when we don't deserve it and when we didn't earn it. God forgives us simply because He loves us, not because we did anything special or anything to receive it. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8/9).

God's grace is amazing.

Protecting My Peace - Day 98 - Momentum and Movement, That’s What's Up

Click to listen to current podcast episode. “Never Giving Up” are power-words — strong affirmations that give us momentum and movement. That’s what’s up. We can do so much more in our lives when we have momentum and movement. It’s about standing, literally and not sitting or laying around feeling sorry for ourselves. I used to do that once upon a time and that sorrowful thinking is for the birds. We don’t have to be down. We can get up and get going even if we start small. In fact, I love starting small, because it helps set a firm foundation of habits and routines. Momentum and movement will help us get and maintain a position of strength to do what God says we can do. Protecting My Peace - Day 96 - Disciplining Ourselves for Next Level Greatness

Click to listen to today's podcast episode. When it comes to next level greatness, we have to know that applies to us, not just everyone else. Do you know what God has for you? Do you? He has GREATNESS for you. Yes, YOU -- all of us. It's about doing what you can do and only you can do. You are the only one with your DNA -- none of us. is the same Yet, even when we're feeling down, discouraged, and out, those emotions are only temporary. None of us has it all together. Sometimes I procrastinate and put things off when I know I should be doing better. Yet, I am not as diligent and disciplined as I can be sometimes. Like when it comes to working out, I delay it, because I don't like it anymore. And although I love reading the bible, I haven't been reading it as often as I should lately. Yes, I, Sharon, the Faith Coach, do not do the things I'm supposed to do when I'm supposed to do them. And that my dear friends should not come as a shock to no one. It certa

Protecting My Peace - Day 95 - We Have to Stop Giving Away Our Power

Click to listen to today's podcast episode. Are you giving away your power? Are you letting people take control over our lives? If so, it’s time to stop operating like that. If we’re letting anyone influence us to the point that it’s causing us emotional pain or taking our peace, we have to move away from such people. It doesn’t matter if it’s in a personal or professional environment. Stay positive and productive in the process though, because dealing with challenges are part of the life process. Nevertheless, we can “fight” for our right for peace and respect. We just fight smart and continue to know who we are, especially who we are in Christ Jesus.
