It Doesn't Matter

It really doesn't matter what comes my way, I'm not going to stop doing what the Lord told me to do.

That's what I, we, have to constantly tell ourselves. Listen, the storms are going to come. Why are they worse for some than others, I don't know. I would imagine it has something to do with how God built each one of us. He made some stronger than others in different areas, but all of us have equity with God. That means we may not necessarily be created equal in every sense of the word, but depending on the circumstances, one may sometimes rise quicker than the other, but still we rise. I am totally convinced that God made everyone with the ability to withstand storms (see Psalms 107:28-31). So we can't say, because we're going through things we can't handle them. We have to push through despite them. We have to rise up through the ashes and God will transform them to beautiful headdresses. Believe that.

Consequently, this is my stance: no matter how difficult things get, no matter what's in front of me, no matter the words the are used against me, no matter who understands me and who doesn't, I'm in this God thing for the long haul. God's word (the bible) tells me, "no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord" (Isaiah 54:17).

Further proof that God continues to do what He's always done, loves and protects His children.

Protecting My Peace - Day 98 - Momentum and Movement, That’s What's Up

Click to listen to current podcast episode. “Never Giving Up” are power-words — strong affirmations that give us momentum and movement. That’s what’s up. We can do so much more in our lives when we have momentum and movement. It’s about standing, literally and not sitting or laying around feeling sorry for ourselves. I used to do that once upon a time and that sorrowful thinking is for the birds. We don’t have to be down. We can get up and get going even if we start small. In fact, I love starting small, because it helps set a firm foundation of habits and routines. Momentum and movement will help us get and maintain a position of strength to do what God says we can do. Protecting My Peace - Day 96 - Disciplining Ourselves for Next Level Greatness

Click to listen to today's podcast episode. When it comes to next level greatness, we have to know that applies to us, not just everyone else. Do you know what God has for you? Do you? He has GREATNESS for you. Yes, YOU -- all of us. It's about doing what you can do and only you can do. You are the only one with your DNA -- none of us. is the same Yet, even when we're feeling down, discouraged, and out, those emotions are only temporary. None of us has it all together. Sometimes I procrastinate and put things off when I know I should be doing better. Yet, I am not as diligent and disciplined as I can be sometimes. Like when it comes to working out, I delay it, because I don't like it anymore. And although I love reading the bible, I haven't been reading it as often as I should lately. Yes, I, Sharon, the Faith Coach, do not do the things I'm supposed to do when I'm supposed to do them. And that my dear friends should not come as a shock to no one. It certa...

Protecting My Peace - Day 95 - We Have to Stop Giving Away Our Power

Click to listen to today's podcast episode. Are you giving away your power? Are you letting people take control over our lives? If so, it’s time to stop operating like that. If we’re letting anyone influence us to the point that it’s causing us emotional pain or taking our peace, we have to move away from such people. It doesn’t matter if it’s in a personal or professional environment. Stay positive and productive in the process though, because dealing with challenges are part of the life process. Nevertheless, we can “fight” for our right for peace and respect. We just fight smart and continue to know who we are, especially who we are in Christ Jesus.
