Just believe it and activate it. |
When I read 1 Samuel 17, I can't help but admire David. One of the things I love about him was his fighting spirit. Who doesn't love a champion? David welcomed a challenge. I think it was just in him, it's how God made him. He was anointed to be a king and back then kings were warriors. It was just who he was.
In 1 Samuel 17:48, when the Philistine giant (Goliath) came towards David, he arose strong and ran to the battle line to fight the giant. Who does that? Warriors, that's who. Amazing.
Anybody can be a warrior.
All we have to do is seek first the kingdom of God. That means if we are lacking in any area there is no reason to be, because God created us in His image. And there is nothing weak about God. Therefore, we have that warrior spirit too. It's in all of us.
Once again, David's leadership has boosted my confidence that with God, anything is possible when we believe. That's called faith.
