You ever hear people talk, but they're not really talking about nothing? Like the Pharisees and teachers of the law when they came to Jesus complaining about people not doing things the way these judgmental people thought they were supposed to? Jesus didn't like their judgment though. He said they were hypocrites (pretenders, deceivers, liars). He said in Matthew 15, verse 14, "leave them (the Pharisees); they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
In other words, we have to be careful of the people around us, whether it be at work or wherever. If people are constantly talking crazy then don't follow them, don't engage with them, walk away. Or we are like the Pharisees and teachers of the law, criticizing and complaining about everything and everybody when we can be so much more productive. We must be careful, because "the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart" (Matthew 15:18).
